Paytrail is a secure payment method for you. We have a payment institution authorisation issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The service is maintained by Paytrail Plc (business ID 2122839-7).
Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

The Paytrail payment service provider passes your payment to the seller. If Paytrail appears on your account statement or credit card invoice, we have passed your payment to the seller.
The online shop markets the products and services and delivers them to the customer. The online shop is in charge of sales-related statutory and other self-imposed obligations. If you wish to file a complaint or return the product, you should contact the online shop that sold the product directly.
Bank payments
Payment buttons for all Finnish banks are available. You can pay with the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbanken. On your account statement, Paytrail appears as the recipient of your payment, and we pass your payment to the online seller. You will be directed from the online shop directly to your own bank for secure payment.
When using the payment initiation service, you are bound by the following terms and conditions: Terms of use of the payment initiation service(in English).
Credit card payments
You can pay with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard cards in the online shop. The online shop makes use of the international Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services. Paytrail appears as the payment recipient on the invoice of the used card, and passes the payment card payment paid by the customer directly to the seller. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form and the payment card information is not stored in the online shop systems.
Mobile payment methods
Mobile payment method MobilePay is an app-based service that allows you to pay for online purchases in the form of bank transfers from your account or in the form of card payments, using your card and accepting the payment in the app in question.
Invoicing and instalment plan services
The invoicing and instalment plan services via Paytrail are provided by OP and Jousto.
Please read the more specific terms and conditions of the financing company that you will see when you accept the payment. By accepting the payment, you agree to the terms and conditions of the financing company.
Jousto invoice and instalment plan
The Jousto invoice and instalment plan is a Finnish service allowing you to make your purchases quickly and safely. Jousto is intended for consumers who have handled their finances properly.
Jousto offers you 30 days of interest-free payment time. An invoicing charge of €2.90 will be added to your purchase. Once you have received the invoice, you can decide whether to pay it in full or in parts. The instalment plan allows you to pay your purchase in up to 36 instalments, starting at €9.90 per month. The costs of the Jousto instalment plan are €3.90 per month and the credit interest rate of 19.90%. You can use Jousto to pay for purchases between €30–3,000.
Purchasing is safe with Jousto. When you make your first purchase, a strong electronic identification is required. As a returning customer, you can easily identify yourself with a single-use code that is sent to your phone. With each purchase, we make a real-time and automated credit decision. The payment transaction and the transmission of information are always carried out in a secure connection. The invoice will be sent by email. The credit is granted by Aurajoki Nordic Ltd.
